About us

Men's shed members

The Men's Shed at Staunton Park provides workshop facilities for members to undertake individual, group and community projects; pass on or learn new skills as well as providing the opportunity for members to take part in a variety of social activities and events.

Nestled within the historic confines of the Old Saw Mill, conveniently located near the charming tea room in the Old Stables, our workshop facilities serve as a hub of creativity and collaboration.

At our Shed, members have the freedom to pursue their individual projects, harnessing the resources and expertise available within the workshop. Whether it's woodworking, metalworking, or any other craft, our space is equipped to accommodate a diverse range of endeavors. Moreover, the Shed provides a platform for group and community projects, enabling members to collaborate on initiatives that benefit the broader community.

Beyond honing practical skills, the Men's Shed is a place of continual learning. Members have the opportunity to pass on their expertise to others, enriching the collective knowledge of the community. Similarly, newcomers are encouraged to learn new skills.

In addition to the industrious atmosphere of the workshop, members can take part in a variety of social activities and events. Whether it's a casual chat over a cup of tea in the tea room or participating in organised events, the Shed fosters an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

Our Shed opening times ensure accessibility to all members eager to engage in meaningful pursuits or simply enjoy the company of like-minded individuals. With these opening times, we strive to accommodate diverse schedules and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from the resources and camaraderie our Shed provides.
