Men's Shed is dedicated to improving the lives and wellbeing of our members in our community. We provide a welcoming and supportive environment where our members can come together and work on projects that benefit themselves and the community. Restoration of Staunton Park Clock
We are undertaking the restoration of the original clock workings which operated the clock above the old stable building of Staunton House. It is believed the clock dates from the early 1800's.

The clock now is electrically powered. The restored workings will be displayed in the reception area of the stable block.
Country Park Benches
We have recently completed a number of wooden country park benches which will be installed around the park for visitors to make use of. A certain number will also be installed at Queen Elizabeth Country Park.

We have made 10 of these sturdy benches ready for use in the summer.
Summerhouse Finial
Recently two of our skilled members created a stunning finial to be mounted on top of a summer house which was very much in need of replacing.
This project showcases the talent and creativity of our Men's Shed members, and we are excited to continue working on more community-driven projects.
Fruit and Vegetable Barrow
A Fruit and Vegetable Barrow has been constructed for The Right to Work Group, Storey Garden Centre at the park to display and sell the produce they have grown.
They are a group of people who have learning difficulties and are supervised by dedicated staff.
